Mike Finnegan and Cleetus McFarland posted vids on their respective channels of Blasphemi vs Leroy (think Roadkill 'vetteKart, but with more development and a lot more power courtesy of large turbochargers). 1/8th mile, uphill and absolutely no traction!
And we got the explanation for why Blasphemi couldn't/wouldn't/didn't repeat the 8.5sec pass from Day 1 on any of the other days - faulty/mis-spec'd valves in the fancy dan fuel system meant that road gas was getting into the race gas tank. Because Roadkill

He said those valves are not rated for fuel but for oil so that might explain why they got slower and slower, they must have some rubber inside that degraded. It'll be a force to be reckoned with next year with that issue fixed.
