I made a thread in the general hardware section about building a new machine for work.
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18695790
It's to replace a machine we use at work for coping data to and from laptop hard drives, at the moment we do this via USB caddies.
Obviously things would be a bit quicker if we could do it by SATA, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend what the best way is to go about this, espeically since we're dealing with 2.5" drives 99% of the time.
In the past when there's been a lot of data, I have directly connected the machine in via SATA, but I want to know if there's a way of setting this machine up, or using equipment that will let me hot swap, so I don't have to turn off the PC.
