Hotel chocolat sale

I wish I bought more now... my two eggs are gone and all the chocolates.

The partners... is there staring at me. I may give in and make her angry.

should have gone for the modified marriage vows that allow you to eat all the eggs.

If you have a chocolate factory outlet shop near you - then like us, you have had to put up with broken (during manufacture) and 2nds of easter eggs since january,
and (I think they have a 6 month lead time) Christmas chocloates will soon be on the menu
You can often pick up 1Kg of chocolate for ~£1

They have had problems shifting the marmite infused eggs, and resorted to giving out samples to entice purchasers - tbo it was not the abhorrence I expected.

most are complex eggs, with multi-layoured/embedded chocolate eg.
also - even if plain, whether it could be efficiently re-tempered ??? any chocolate experts

Aye, would need to be returned to the factory and also the packaging removed which would just be extra cost.

Quality of the chocolate would also suffer if it was remelted.

Ah fair enough. Just seems a lot of waste to flog it all for pennies because it's broke. Similar to the whole bent carrot fiasco.

similar to most things.

have you noticed that full cashews are worth considerably more than half or broken cashews? as in asda smart price cashews only contain broken cashews and the more premium ones are full cashews. it's the same thing and it's going to break anyway when you bite into it.

i suppose it's all about presentation. take hotel chocolat you aren't paying for the chocolate as so much the way it's presented. the box, the ribbon with the bow, the nice card inside, etc. take all those things away and it wouldn't be worth even half of what they sell it for. it's more about how the premium presentation makes some people feel.

look at a thorntons egg and compare the presentation with hotel chocolat. even if it was the exact same egg. you could still charge double the way it's presented by them over thorntons.

Asda solution was a con : sell sealed box with a number of wounded vegetables - so could not confirm their freshness.

His and hers newest rejects from chocolate factory -
dangerous stuff - combined total ~16000 calories (£2.40), based on ~500 calories/100g,

The higher, >80% cocoa content chocolate denominations, apparently even more calorific, this surprised me.

What chocolate factory? It doesn't look like Hotel Chocolat stuff with those little mini eggs embedded into it.

Might be stupid question but why do they not just melt and reuse?

a lot of chocolate can be melted and reused, but anything with inclusions ( Stuff ) in it is usually waste. We usually have a bit of rework but we try and reduce it as much as possible as it is expensive to remelt it and pump it back into the tanks. Due to it being labour intensive.

does anyone know what these are ?
purchased some white chocolate off-cuts ... but do not understand what kind of chocolates these shapes might be used to manufacture
what role do the cavities have ?

Looks like it's from the Hotel Chocolate Suppository collection.
