Hotmail problems..

I've been having a problem with hotmail for the past 4 hours, the problem being that I can't access my email at all! When I log in it says:

Windows Live Hotmail is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes. If it's been more than an hour, tell us you're still waiting.

Anyone else got the same problem? The link they specify is no help at all. I've had this hotmail account for about 8-9 years now!

it's working fine for me, I just logged out and back in again to check it, and no problem whatsoever.

I also googled the problem..people seem to get it randomly, independently of everyone else!

What can I do to fix this - I can't even find any support for hotmail?

I think you need to reinstall hotmail to fix the issue.

Clear your browser cache, reboot try another browser all the usual trouble shooting stuff.

Tried that and other obvious stuff, tried a few different computers - still the same problem. Don't think the problem is at my end.

What's weird is that I can access my hotmail through the Mail application on my Mac...hmmm

Not had any problems here and I've been on and off it all day
