Houllier might leave liverpool

Mate anyone can do better than Gerrard Holier at the moment, as someone said above he don't look the best and he certainly don't look fit for shouting at players and stuff, I mean he should employ Alex Ferguson tactics and start throwing boots about in the changing room mabye then the likes of Owen and Gerrard, Diouf & Diao will pick up on their game.

New manager is needed soon, so that he can have 10 - 15 games in charge to see what players he wants to keep and what players he wants to sell then sell them in the summer make some money back and put it towards new players who will suit the style of play.

no width = no chances = no goals = crap liverpool.

IMO (and for what it's worth - not a lot I hear you say!) it's extremely doubtful that Thompson would or even could make sufficient difference to make it worth making the change. To get a proven, world class manager, now that's a distinct possibility - but didn't L/pool supposedly do that when they brought in Houllier?

The problem with bringing in someone of the likes of Alex Ferguson is that he would probably change the make-up of the club so that winning is all-important and you may well then win loads of titles/cups etc., and even make loads of money. But by doing so it'll attract the "hate" mob who just can't live with any other team than their own suceeding!;)

Perhaps Houllier has "lost it" after his medical problem. But c'mon, it wasn't THAT long ago that you were top of the table XX points in front of everyone. Nah, probably best to sit still with your fingers crossed and do nothing (other thsan lining up the next manager) - for the time being at least:D

As a United (that's the Manchester kind) supporter I sure hope L/pool's run of bad form holds out just a little longer. Otherwise we might not have anything to celibrate the way that we're playing atm. Let's hope for the sake of football in general that irrespective of whoever wins it's a good end to end, exciting match.

Houllier is a great manager but I personally feel that the man is not well. Take alook at him and you wonder, will he die live on TV?

But I think a change is needed. Its either O'Neil or Cappello. If anyone else, they can stay away and Houllier can have another go.

There seems to be no passion or desire at Liverpool these days, and that's one of the main problems. When they were behind yesterday they never really looked like getting back, yet when Everton were behind on Saturday they absolutely dominated the game and always looked like they could/would score.

Also, Liverpool are as mentioned too one-dimensional. When it works (like Murphy's ball yesterday) it works well, but most of the time defenders nod them away. Again, look at Everton, and they were trying different things to score (long balls to Campbell, Radzinski breaking down the wing, crosses into the box from good wide positions etc). It just seems Liverpool have completely run out of ideas so resort to the simplest football they know.

Haha I seem to remember someone mentioning this and a vast majority of people on these boards disagreeing with them. So you are the one :p

FFS! 2 wins in 16 premiership games??? That kind of standard isn't even acceptable for a club at the bottom of the table let alone Liverpool. I can't see Liverpool getting out of this rut its gone to far now, January was the perfect time to sort something out by selling players or buyin one or two new one's he never did that so he didn't even try to sort it out. I really do hope Liverpool loose the Worlington Cup Final & go out of EUFA Cup because thats the best thing which could ever happen to them, at least that way the season will have been a disaster and Houlier will have to go no two ways about it/
