Currently looking into buying a house, hopefully in the Essex area. I work rather eccentric hours in central london, and would be looking at getting the train in and back every day - no more than a 30-40 min train journey max. Looking for a small-ish house in a nice, quiet area. Looked a little at Billericay, but anyone have any experience/recommendations in that sort of region (I don't really know the area that well)?
