Housing Question?

Hey everyone

Quick and to the point, i was going to buy this

to house my 2TB green WD HDD and 1TB Black WD HDD that i have stored away as a back up drives for my macbook and my gaming pc.

Only question is, can i have the two drives acting separately (one for the macbook, one for the pc) or will this enclosure make them be seen as the "one" HDD. Sorry, very noob question have not tried this before.

Any different suggestions welcomed

It does JBOD so you'd need to format the drives, it would then see them as one, you could connect to either the Mac or the PC via USB. You could have two partitions if you wanted, or you could have both machines back up to the one logical drive.
