How are the rest of you combating the non existent pc game scene atm?

what games are people playing to keep them occupied until bioshock/crysis/hl2portal-tf2-ep2 etc?

Seems like we haven't had a mad release that everyones raving on about for years.

I might have to buy a 360 :p
 
ive been really slow this year on games! and last come to think about it

just got DIRT installed today after it was delivered ages ago lol, played a bit of it with the controller.... so that my sunday occupied this weekend, its amazing!!!!

ummmmm, oblivion, another time consumer. stalker for the sheer beauty, but annoying run everywhere ness, also eats time. was so close to installing WoW again earlier on in the week, but stopped on the 4th disk of tbc and uninstalled it all as im not going there again.

online.. going to install CoD2 again, such a bril single player imo and multiplayer, CSS.... who wouldnt, bf2142, tedious at times, annoying, but still, oh so much fun. bf2 always has a place in my heart. think they should do me for a while.

I agree its absoloutly crap atm has been for ages. Just waiting for the decent games in the next few months. Sick of playing the same old rubbish.
 
i wouldnt say im sick of it, as there has been a plus side to it.... ive gained a fair amount of posts from it :D

nothing else better to do, but now i come to think about it, i might as well just jump on WoW, go gank some retard alli's

C&C3
Supreme commander
And old C&C games.
And playing farcry, still haven't played it out yet :p .

EDIT:

Actually all this in the past 7 days (newest games like civ 4 bts expansion, and some other things don't show up yet, xfire hasn't upgraded the game list yet):

Actually I have, in the past few weeks played Doom 3 for the first time and I throughly enjoyed it. Im now half way through the expansion pack. As for stuff to play after this. Well, erm I don't know. :o

Console ones. Im awaiting a good PC game to get me back into PC gaming, but ive been with consoles since January and frankly i cant see anything coming soon that will swing me into buying a new rig.
 
No New Games, So Old it is :)

Been playing a few of my favourite classic PC games, mainly Age of Empires 2 : Conquerers.

Thought id whip it out after I got bored of CSS, didnt realise how great it actually was. Went straight to google to find out if there was anything like Mods etc. and found some great new civilizations and maps to play on,it actually felt like a brand new game (which I deserve thanks to the shoddiness of AOE3), now it is battling with CSS for a majority of my PC gaming time.

Anyone else still play AOE2?
 
EVE, Lost Planet, and Zelda:TP for me.


I do wish GWEN, Bioshock, Ep2, and Crysis would get a move on though!
