How are you finding pub numbers since the smoking ban?

Come to Stoke On Trent where you will be able to smoke in pubs until August 3rd. Apparently our council cocked it up

Not quite sure how that would work as the ban was at a national level and not something enfocred at a local council level.
But i'm sure if that is the case there will be a story about it somewhere soon.

There's plenty of stories about it. The councillors forgot to vote themselves the power to enforce the rules, so none of the local authorities can do anything about it.

Absolutely bloody brilliant.
This saturday I'm gigging at the really smokey Butchers Arms and I was looking forward to not stinking

We have been busier in the evenings since the ban, bizarrely since we have been mostly nonsmoking for over a year (just a small area outside, which is now nonsmoking too). I can only put it down to either coincidence, or more people going out to pubs in general now they know it won't be smoky
