How are you in the mornings?

If I'm at my house alone I hate getting up and stay in bed as long as possible. If I'm staying at my gf I like getting up before she does so I can get the coffee on and make breakfast.

I feel much more alert and happy when I have a good reason to get out of bed.

Love mornings, up early pretty much every morning, If I sleep past 6:30 on a weekend it'd be a big surprise.

Try to be up early (about 5) so I can get a jog in before work a few days a week :)

I dont mind them.

try to leave it to the last possibile moment to getout of bed.

For example today, Rolled out of bed at 8am, Shower and dressed and ate a banana and in the car by 8:11. New record i must say.

I work shifts comprising of days and nights and it can take a few days to get back into a normal sleeping pattern after working 6 nights in a row.

Plus I have to be up at 6:30am when I'm not working to get my daughter into school.

So pretty much grumpy every morning I wake up. :o

Very much a morning person so tend to be up early most days (5am usually ... in fact I was undecided whether to go into the office or not last night and what clinched it was waking up at 5am this morning which meant I could get in using my normal public transport) ... on the upside 7am is a lie-in.

But for me getting up early and going to work early means I can leave early which gives me a larger block of time in the afternoon/evening to do what I want.

My job is great but they don't employ me during my most productive hours!

Up early, a bundle of joy and looking forward to the day ahead. At my best in the morning. :D

(that will make a few people sick :p)

Same. I'm not a night owl at all. I thrive off daylight. In fact I love getting up in the mornings and hate lying in bed when I'm awake.

Even if I am suffering my occasional bouts of insomnia I still look forward to the morning.

I don't wake up annoyed, except monday's.

I have two trains i can catch, the one goes straight to stratford and is clean quiet and comfortable and not smelly and fast 6 mins. The other one is slow, smelly, dirty, noisy and depressing. Problem is the fast train means i arrive 10:30 am at work and not sure how much longer i can get away with that. The alternative would be to catch the depressing train in every morning which means i would have to wake up/leave the house and 1 hour+ earlier than i do.

I find that some days when i work from home, i get more done from home because the commute kind of puts me in a bad mood and then when i get too work i remote in to my home pc and not do much work. But if i am at home I end up doing more work, it is strange.

I use to be utterly miserable when I had a factory job and had to be up for 3am. Now, life is sweet and getting up is no longer a dread chore. Yeah some days I just want to kick a cat and go back to sleep, but all in all I don't mind mornings now.

The dark afternoons get to me though. Worst thing about winter is it getting dark so early.

For the first time in the last 10 or so years I actually really like & enjoy my job. Doesn't stop me being like a bear with a sore head in the mornings but by the time I'm at my desk I'm usually awake and raring to go.

Takes me a good hour to get my head straight & get going. My only issue is not going to bed early enough to get my 7hrs beauty sleep and still get up at 6am.

awesome. I hate getting up anything later than 8am and often even when not in work or not in work til later, my bodyclock wakes me up at half 7 ish.

No problems waking up as soon as my alarm goes off (even when they're set for 4.15:() and never need to 'snooze'. I'm Immediately functional :)
