How are you on yer online FPS's?

I expect the second option almost every time, if I don't meet that expectation I tend to quit after a couple of maps, I don't hang around for too long. Some of the time I am first as well.
 
I would say 2(ish)

The rust sets in very quickly these days, a few weeks away from online gaming and I could swear everyone is cheating or that some twisted gaming god is punishing me and me alone.

With regular play and a map I'm comfortable on, I can usually get to the top.
 
2 generally, though haven't played any fps in quite a while so more a 3 at the moment i would suspect!
 
Depends on gametype and the level of competition (a public ffa is always gonna be way less talented than a tournament final for example).

For ut1 in tdm I'll say a 2 for me but my teams always 1, got some sickos in the lineup :)
 
2 most of the time. Rest of the time can be anything of the others. I get some games where kills come without trying and I get accused of cheating and other days i get shot in the back of the head after every corner and struggle to get on the kill sheet.
 
I think all the people who rate themselves a "2" should play on a server against each other.

Then you find out whether you really are as good as you think :p
 
this is for pub servers yes :)

pub server are easy so top about 90 percent of time

on better standard servers i can hold my own for a few rounds but i cant hold the concentration needed for more than a few rounds now.

thing is one can put 1 or 2 in that chart but be for pub servers but get ruined on decent servers so they would be 6 on them servers.

done this many a time with people on like hc nab servers take them on decent servers like digintas, esuba , h2k and so on and they rage quit cause theyre hacking lolz.

this is why i hate hardcore especially cause everyone thinks theyre a god :p
 
I used to play CS pretty heavily and in my peak/prime whatever, I would say 1 - of course these are on public servers. Though I did play on a few Blueyonder servers way back where the standard was definitely higher than the rest.

Nowadays I don't really play online shooters any more aside from L4D2 with friends, so it's much more relaxed. However, like Shadez, I still get the most kills/highest accuracy at the end of games and expert realism isn't particularly difficult coming from the intensity of CS games.

just started playing CS:S after about 5 years out of online FPS and am hitting mid tables at the minute...managed top the other day though on a server full of a clan so was chuffed with that :D

Generally a 1, unless playing with friends who are also 1's so we drag each other down as much as possible in publics but playing public games of an fps is a rarity.
 
Depends on the game tbh.

For example when I used to play BC2 I could quite easily get top of the table and out wit other players, but then when I play counter strike I really do have to concentrate and be on a good day to hit the top area.
