How bad is the Ford Fusion?

but the 3008 isn't released yet, unless you just means audi-esque going by style rather than quality, which i would think of when somebody says "audi-esque"......but thats just prob me.

We've got one as our company pool car, awesome...
Not offensive to drive, just very bland. The interior is as grim as you'd expect from a cheap ford.
1.4tdci pulled exactly like you'd imagine, it's not quick, but there are plenty slower.
The only thing that really bothered me was the handbrake, it felt in an awkward position.
I'm sure there are worse cars you could be in? 800cc matiz, etc...

What do you want to hear - it will corner like its on rails, out accelerate a 911 and impress all your mates?
No. Its a cheap, economical runabout for people on a tight budget that need a bit of space.
It will be cheap to run, you'll have plenty of room for stuff, and it will get you from A to B. For quite a lot of people - that what a car is for.

Any redeeming features that will make me not want to leave the handbrake off on the steepest hill I can find.
Ok so it's economical... a whole 2mpg more than a focus (based on the manufacturer's claimed MPG which is probably miles off) although I guess that does save me a pretty impressive £4.60/month.
I guess that's true it's at least going to give me more boot space. *goes to check figures*

Ok so the price tag is attractive, but it's over £100/month less than my car grade so I'm not actually saving anything by not getting something a little (or even a lot) nicer.

Why will you'll be driving this car? Do you have a choice?
Not really. It's basically a company pool car to tie me over until they get mine sorted out. All of the others available are huge executive barges, e.g. A6s and 5 series, and while I wouldn't mind one of those, I can't really afford the £150+ company car tax on them.
I guess I should stop complaining and make the best of it but it seems like everything that could possibly suck about the car does. XD

I found the drivers seat comfortable enough for an hour drive. That's a positive... *tumbleweed*
