i took the audi in the other day. we did have particularly bad traffic.

22mpg on the way in... 17mpg coming home. the traffic was even worse :D

42MPG on average for the last two tanks. 3.9mi each way :)

If I take the LCR then its 25~ for the same trip.

About 26mpg. I have to go along tiny back lanes to get to work, but the bonus is that i'm rarely in stop start traffic.

Depends how good i want to be and what the traffics like, on a good day 32 on the way to work and 27 on the way back.

On a bad day 15 - 20 on the way to work and about the same on the way back.

27 mile trip each way, all on backroads.

I'm still amazed at this. I got 35mpg around town from a Stop-Start fitted 118d and 320d, yet you thrash it with an older 330d?!

There is noway a 330d gets that, can bet you my 1.9 Astra CDTi wouldn't get that on a 4 mile each way trip.

42mpg, 24 miles roundtrip 320D SE. North circular and A1. 3/4 filled the tank 3weeks ago and still going at just under 1/4. This includes 2 trips to Eltham to girlfriend @ 2x 40 miles roundtrip where i averaged 52mpg according to the computer, So about 440 miles on a bit over half tank, and i'm a bit of a lead foot.

Not doing too bad at the moment, has dropped off slightly since its got colder. Sitting at around 32mpg on a 6 mile each way trip, much much better than the 25mpg I was getting in my previous car. Who said bigger engines use more fuel? :D
