How can I block those annoying in text ads on web pages?

A question for you all.

When reading a lot of sites, especially tech sites, certain common words will be double underlined. If you roll over them a little bubble pops up with an advert in it. For example if you were roll over the word computer it might contain an advert for some computer retailer.

It is - in a word - annoying.

I'm running Firefox. Does anyone know of a way or perhaps a plugin to disable these?

If it's done with javascript could it be disabled with the noscript plugin?

Yes.

Noscript and adblock in firefox blocks everything.

Just install them and your laughing.

ABP does block the underlining Ads.

I'm using the EasyList filter

No, it removes the link as well.
