How can I easily format gpt disks?

I can't format these disks as they are protected by times I used drivepool

Is there an easy way to force format them?

You might be able to do it with "diskpart" and clean the disks that way

As above boot to something with proper low level access and it should be fine. E.g. a GNU/Linux live CD or make a bootable USB of UBCD, etc.

I've been using these diskpart commands recently after trying out some different NAS software. Windows wouldn't let me format the flash drive, and I couldn't use disk management either to delete the partitions, diskpart worked a treat.
