10 years ago BBC Wales did a documentary on 18 year olds living and growing up in Wales. I was one of the selected persons from Swansea to be filmed, anyways I’ve since lost the video tape (yes video tape) and I’ve searched the net vigorously to find it.

Anyways, despite it being totally embarrassing due to fact they made me out to be a total cheese ball over my ex girlfriend I’d love to see it again .

The name of the show is:

Cert 18: Tim Harris

The closest i've got is: http://www.locatetv.com/tv/cert-18/season-1/183339
If you find it please, dont post it up here as i will literally die with shame!

edit: ok that link above is much more relevant... that's a lorra money for a copy

I imagine you'll have to contact the BBC to find out...

from the bbc archive website:

Can I have a copy of a BBC programme?

Sorry, but the short answer is no. We cannot provide copies of programmes, even if the programmes are already available to view on this website.

If a programme has been broadcast within the last seven days, it may be available via BBC iPlayer.

So they say they won't give you a copy even if they have it, but as you're actually in the program there might be an exception - I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of right under the DPA to request this...

Who can apply?

*We can only supply this material to applicants who have made a significant contribution to the making of the programme, or made a personal appearance, or where a relative has made a personal contribution or your company/organisation/property was featured.

TIM HARRIS, from Swansea, sums up the bad press that people his age get as a generalisation. ``People look at the age, and not the individual,'' he said. Tim has three obsessions in life - his bubbly girlfriend, his souped-up car and his work helping troubled young people get back on track. He works with 16 and 17-year-olds which, given the closeness in age, is oftenchallenging, but he believes it helps him relate to their problems and makes him more approachable.

``I had to grow up very fast when I started this job but I can relate to what the young people are going through. It can be a difficult transition period for young people, and sometimes it's easier for them to take advice from someone their own age.''

Interesting... what souped-up car is this?

i had to find a program once for work. instead of going to the bbc. they may have hired an external production company. thats who you will want to attack. though they will charge you about 100 quid or so to transfer it from back up to a cd and then probably another 50 for the privilege of putting it on a cd due to " engineer time "

I heard that BBC are going to be opening their archives soon so you can download any of its programmes from the past. Not sure when or if it will be back that far though...

Worst 'I was on TV 10 years ago thread' ever.

You ***. I'd like to keep this to show my daughter when she's older how much more of an arse her Dad was . I've been on TV plenty more times than that i can tell you.

Worst version of that bad joke ever

Cheers ;)

Ok thanks, i will look into this.

Dam .... it wasn't a "souped-up car" at all, it was a silver Corsa SXI with TSW venoms!! Totally forgot they focussed on that, my god I’d get destroyed in the motor section if they saw the video haha!

Hope someone can provide the goods here, sounds hilarious.

Thankfully it was filmed before iplayer took off... Phew!! Its full of Cringe, there was a part when i said "If you ever find a girl like Leanne (my then GF) hold on to her cos she's one in a million".... I cannot tell you how much to this day i've not lived it down in front of my mates!

I was in the same position a few years back, the tape i had was lent out to family and never seen again (probably taped over).

Anyways long story short i fixed a laptop for a BBC wales presenter and mentioned it to him, a week later i had the tape in my hand.

If you know of anyone who works with the BBC or know someone who knows someone that's probably the best route to get it free.

Do you have more info on this?

My son was on Countryfile in December for when they filmed his school nativity play and I want to get a copy of this.
