Hey guys :)
I have a problem. I've set my PC (Windows 7) to auto sleep after 1 hr of inactivity. Problem is that sometimes it just stays on. It has no problem going to sleep when I manually make it though.

Is there some thing I can look at to see what causes it to not auto sleep?

Might be caused by tiny movements from your mouse even though you're not actually using it, have this problem myself sometimes. Try unplugging it and see what happens.

Check the power options, there's a couple there about media sharing/playback which by default, are set to not allow the PC to enter sleep mode.

I don't think it's this, because the screensaver comes on.

Some programs prevent windows from sleeping, what do you have running?
Sometimes the browser and and windows media player. For the sake of a test I one time closed everything, but it still didn't sleep.

I'll try this.

I seem to recall that there's some sort of log you can look at to see events?
