How can I PM or get in contact with a user on this forum?

Feek had left a like on one of my previous posts, I take it both of them are big cheeses given their amounts of posts and join date.
I’m amazed at how many people here have stuck around for literal decades, is there anywhere I can read up on the site’s history and important members?

There’s an archive floating about somewhere. I don’t recommend you finding it. It’s brutal. lol

In the late 90s a friend called Pete Radford owned Millennium Computers with his wife & Dad.
Mark (Spie) either worked for him or with him a bit later on.
Spie started to concentrate on the online stuff and came up with a basic forum, amazingly Pete didn't think any of these ideas would work.
Eventually the shop name changed to Overclockers because of their work overclocking processors with the first one being the Celeron 300 (not sure if they were called Overclockers at that time).
Around 2002/2003 there was a great big Nuke and the Overclockers forum as you see it was formed hence my date to the left.
Mark eventually bought out Pete and he went on to make kit cars 100 yards from OCUK.
Sadly Mark passed away but before that he had sold Overclockers to Caseking for an astonishing amount of money and he didn't get time to enjoy it :(

Story from the man himself.

Also the Nuke was around 20th Oct 2002. Not sure what you were doing for 6 months :D

Read my words above, I said 2002/2003

No, I don't know what you're getting at. The forums went from one to another.
I can't remember the exact date, you say 2002.
What he’s saying is that the big nuke was on 18th October 2002 but that you’re a slacker ‘cos you didn’t register on the new forum until 29th March 2003, over five months later :p

Oh, glad you explained it, no idea :)
Knowing me I probably went in the shop one day and asked Mark what had happened to the forums :)

It was all over the old forums before we nuked, lots of announcements, plenty of discussions because when it was first mentioned, we said that the existing threads wouldn’t be moved over so people started making copies. Big Nuke day was a huge thing.

No doubt but I'm not very observant.
I don't know if you remember but I was made a Mod (just below a Mod) and I had it taken away from me because I did nothing for 6 months, I didn't even know I'd been made one :)
I'm excellent at reading emails but I'll swear I never had one.
