Hi all,

Last week I was out and about on my PC repair duties and unfortunately I've spewed up some tar on to my car, most likely from a b road :/

It's not an awful amount, but it's enough, it's about a square couple of inches right on the passenger side wheel arch, with a sprayed up rally looking effect lol.

Anyway, what is the best way to remove it? I've heard from a customer I had last night that petrol or white spirit would do the job but I'm a bit dubious so thought I'd come on here to ask for your expert advice before pursuing any tar removing remedies :)

Thx!

WD40, Petrol & / or Diesel.

(Certainly works on Trucks, they do have thick paint mind you......)

ok and WD40 won't damage the paint work? I should probably mention it's a mk3 mondeo which I'm sure I read on these forums doesn't have the most strengthened of paint.
