How can i tell exactly what ive got?

I bought some second hand gear the other day, and am not 100% sure what ive got.

I'm fine with it, not having any problems, and i know the person so i know i havn't been ripped off, just wanting to know exactly what i've got

Is there any software which can tell me this?

CPU-z and Sandra are pretty good for many things. Alternatively you could remove the side of the case and begin reading.

Everest Home Edition gives you a lot of info on and will ID different bits of the system.
