If all the nukes in the world were shot at the moon could we blow it up?
Course you could, the moon aint that big, only something like the size of australia.
Now this is a much better line of conversation. Just waiting for the Phyics boys to come along (the ones that always explain string theory and special reletivity).
What would count as a successful descruction? completly vaporised or just reduced to dust and when it falls to earth it will burn up. Would you be wanting one large explosion with all the nukes or a continual barage lasting a couple of days?
I'm now remembering the scene from a Red Dwarf episode where one of them plays pool with planets trying to seal a black hole.
