How can you tell if AHCI is enabled in win 7 & NCQ

reluctant to give advice to anyone after my post below, but I'm sure you can just check your bios settings or run a benchmark test and it'll say there :)
 
What mobo?

1: Intel Matrix Storage Manager will tell you.

2: And in Device Manager you can expand the drive controller to see it listed as an AHCI controller.
