How can you tell if your motherboard supports SATA-II 3.0Gbp/s?

It might just say SATA though due to SATA-II not actually existing technically. More and more companies are like that. For example, look at Seagate and WD's websites. No mention of SATA-II anywhere despite drives supporting 3Gb/s transfer rates, NCQ etc.

However, looking at it more closely, it's a Socket 754 system with the nForce 3 chipset so it's quite likely that it may only support SATA 1.5Gb/s. Not that it's a big issue though as no current drive can saturate a 1.5Gb/s link anyway.
