How cool is this?

Why are so many people so enthusiastic about the idea that a ludicrously dangerous impractical means of transport will be the main form of transport in the future just because it flies?

It would be cool and possibly efficient if you're the only person with one, but imagine millions of people flying around with jetpacks. The death toll from accidents would be horrific. As a form of mass transport, it's an even worse idea than flying cars.

Meh... We have too many people and too much of a housing shortage anyway. Besides, I'm sure Tesla will come up with an electric self-piloting version that Dyson will rip-off.... assuming the current NASA-Uber collaboration doesn't work out.

But either way, imagine how empty the roads will be, though!!! :D
