How could he not know?

Wasn't this posted here yesterday? Or am I thinking of somewhere else?

EDIT: Maybe not, I can't find it here, can't remember where I saw it - must be losing my mind - I blame the heat.

Well at least you aint thrown me out yet? Is there a record for someone arriving and leaving.

I'm guessing he's just a total idiot and he never put two and two together. It's more sad than it is funny, really.

Welcome to the forums, sir. :)
What do you mean by arriving and leaving?

Laydee thankyou, and I didnt know if you were gonna throw me out for being stupid and re posting stuff without checking on my first post

There must be a screw loose somewhere.

I agree with the previous post. It's more sad than funny. You can't really blaim the chap for acting like a complete fool when he found out.

Yes Sir, as I said ive been lurking for a while and so have done stuff like that, but cheers all the same

Am i the only one that feels sorry for him??

I really dont think he cared that the kid was black, all he cared about was HIS son, whether it was his or not.

Im sure the question popped into his head the first time he saw it, but then his heart took over and he loved him more than he cared about the actual father.

I think in a world where dads give up and leave far too easily its nice to see someone who really cares.

Some of the comments on break made me want to reach down the phone lines and smack them. Break really does have some morons for members!!

No I feel sorry too, but hes a white bloke with a fairly white looking wife, so he must have had SOME suspicions surely

Bingo.

Daft or not that he never questioned it, she was screwing around and let him raise the kid as his own.

Hi n00b :p

I think that guy knew it in the back of his mind but didnt want to face facts. I feel genuinely sorry for him, as she broke that news to him, his whole world had crashed down on him. I bet he was more of a father than the real father will ever be to that little kid.

I've seen this in real life.
Theres a bloke at our place who is white and his wife is white and they have a black son.
When he was asked about it he claimed that there are blacks in his family and it skipped a couple of generations.
I know this can happen but we don't believe its happened in his family because the kid doesn't bear any resemblance to him.
