How Could I Improve This? Help Me Out =)

Hmm, nice case. Wait what's the advantage of getting the fortress over say a RAVEN? I mean, for the extra £10, you get the innovative cooling and a stunning case?

This includes the extra £70.

Not sure if the Titan will fit, can someone confirm?

Thanks for the suggestion, but thats about £100 over budget =S But i'll consider your changes, and try to input them into my system.

None - i just prefer the Fortress - i'm not a fan of the Raven's angular looks. But the Raven is a good case - just not my taste which is why i didn't suggest it ;)

TBH, you're better off having a browse and selecting the ones you like around that price range - and then coming back and listing them here so that we can pick over your suggestions.

£100 pounds almost guarantees you a good case - it basically comes down to the aesthetics (which is your decsion only - don't worry about what other ppl think) and whether or not it can accomodate all your components with adequate cooling. If you go for a tower the latter wont really be an issue.

Well, here's a list of my considerations:

Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black (No PSU)

Antec 902 Nine Hundred Two Ultimate Gaming Case - Black (No PSU)

Antec P182 Super Midi Tower Case - Gun Metal Black (No PSU)

Antec Skeleton Performance Chassis - Black/Silver (No PSU)

Antec 1200 Twelve Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black (No PSU)

Silverstone Fortress FT01B-W Tower Case with Window - Black (No PSU)

Silverstone RV01B-W Raven Case with Window - Black (No PSU)

What do you think guys, considering cooling performance and value for money?

I would bump the case up to a 900 and the CPU to a 940 x4.. should eat up your budget give or take a tenner, and you'll have a nice future-proof CPU (well, as future proof as you can get without buying i7) and a decent case to work in.

You could just save it and put it towards a better monitor at a later date - as that will be your weakest link with that setup.

Yes, and will certainly be a laugh. (For some reason i thought you had a 19" monitor - i suspect i'm getting you confused with a very similar thread - my bad.)

Haha. That's made my day =) Do you think it is worth shedding out a bit more for an upgrade in processor, from the AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE, to the AMD Phenom II X4 940 BE???

You could - but whether it's worth it is a different matter...

I've come full circle and can only suggest RAID 0 again - you could always just use your dvd-r for backup - and that way you stay within your £70 budget.

But, i stress, you would need to back up - as RAID 0 is fast but if one drive breaks you lose all data - so you need to back up regularly. And the DVD-r method is fine for that - it's just getting in to the habit of doing it regularly.

So basically I would use this RAID 0 setup, and then back up my system onto DVD's? I'm a bit confused to be honest. And when you say backup, do you just mean save all my data on the linked HDD's to the DVD's or bigger HDD?
