How did my mirror turn on automatically?

I was having a shower last night and my hand motioned LED bathroom mirror turned on automatically, how could this have happened?

A. Poltergeist GTFO
B. The hot steam got to the switch and activated it.
C. I am going senile
D. None of the above
E. Other please specify.

Steam probably confusing the PIR or light sensor, in the same way the exhaust from a tumble dryer vent can trigger PIR lights.

The circuit probably broke intermittently. I have the same type and the LED's come on after power outages, must be NC contacts.
