How did you all find this place?

Knew the shop for ages, didn't even know the forums existed Chris1712 showed me and I was a lurker for months. Then I got a proper email address and here we are...
 
I joined because my a8n sli deluxe bought from ocuk wouldn't work. No one elses would either and it was eventually discovered that asus hadn't got a working bios for it and nvidia hadn't got working drivers for it and we hadn't got a chance in hell of getting it working...
 
I found this site by looking for overclocking material, i typed overclocking into google and saw this site. Wounder why ? :D
 
Friend linked me when i was after some new PC parts, didnt start posting till about a few months after i found it.
 
About five/six years ago when I was at college, my mate was on here and I was curious so I signed up.
 
I used to buy my PC bits from OCS (The Overclocking Store) and we had a forum just like OcUK.
People at OCS didn't like OcUK and people at OcUK didn't like us :p

The OcUK forum got hacked at some point and we invited OcUK members to use our forum until they got theirs back. Some people signed up and everyone got on pretty well.
OCS then went under and I joined OcUK back in May 2001. The only other OCS member I know of is Gavin..... hello mate :cool:
 
I was recommended this site by a guy called BoNeS off a airgun forum when i was contemplating building a PC.

Custom Pc Mag -> OcUK Advert -> Shop site -> first computer build advise -> never left since
 
Like most i was looking at building a new pc, i think i did a search on google for a product to see which uk companies had it and up pops OCUK. Saw the forums, signed up and bought my stuff. :)
