'Monserrat' was a stage name I gave myself way back in 1997. It was meant to be Montserrat, named after the volcanic island. I spelt it wrong, and kept the wrong spelling once I realised.

Back when a microprocessor was actually a large box of PCA's and each 'bit' was handled by individual ECL logic chips, they were called Bitslice Processors.
This means I predate the Internet and so usually this nickname isn't taken by some kiddie.

I like coffee quite a substantial amount, I also like the Norwegian language. Combining the two gave me Kaffe.
