How did you discover the ocuk forums?

I think I wanted to delve deeper into making my own pc or something and then signed up for advice!

Hmmm, was quite a while ago - don't know why I ended up browsing a computer related forum pretty much every time I'm on a laptop for the last few years! :D

Came to expose a serial fraudster from a motoring website. Googled his username and scored a hit on OcUK's motors forum.

Stayed for the tech side of OcUK though.

Like many others I imagine, looking for help with overclocking and build advice, many moons ago.

I used to be Monserrat on thesite.org forums, where someone there recommended the shop. I made my 1st order in late 2003 then found the forums a few months later in 2004. The fact that I only live in Stafford was a coincidence. Never actually been to the shop though as I can't drive.

Yeah, but you've been to the pub with MrsSeabiscuit, which has to be even MORE exciting! Alright, 5UB wasn't there, but you can't have everything.

The ex boyfriend used to spend most of his waking hours on this forum so if you can't beat them, join them. 15 years later I'm still here although I'm married to someone else. :D

DaVe18 on these very forums introduced me to them many moons ago when we both worked for a major satellite and broadband provider :p

Ah computer fairs. My favourite!! I bought stuff from ocuk way before I joined the forums.

Sigma then told me about the forums but I didn't listen until I looked for chili stuff online and found the chili thread so joined! Ha

My brothers' friend built a computer, he told me about the website, I clicked on forums and my life became complete.

Stumbled across them when they had the little unit down in Fenton, used em ever since. (loitered on the forum for ages before bothering to join)

They were a complete hit and miss, the Edinburgh ones at least. Some times were nothing better than some stalls from local computer shops and someone selling Linux distros burnt onto CD for a fiver. Sometimes though, you'd get liquidation sales with ex-corporate desktops, network equipment and laser printers really cheaply.
