How do I add a password to my bluetooth?

I don't think you can.

Not seen anything of the sort on mine anyway.

Why do you want to 'password' it?

You can't password protect bluetooth headsets. They require being put in 'pairing mode' to be linked to a handset, something that requires you to physically have the BT headset - they use this as their security mechanism.

The default password for the majority of bluetooth products is 0000.

by chance, do you mean the password that it asks for when trying to connect with another mobile or pc?

the password is a number made up on the spot. for example, you put in any 4 digit number, the other phone will then ask for a password, which would be the same 4 digit code.

Thats the one. AS in, when someone connects to my phone, how do they get a password prompt?

They will do automatically if they want to pair with your phone.
