can anyone help?

Thanks

It'll be a ball ache worth of googling/learning. It'll be in your router settings somewhere, so yes the 192.168.0.1 in your browser, if your lucky, login and pssword will be admin/admin and it'll be an obvious setting in there.

The reality is likely far from that.

Good luck.

You could try calling your ISP and asking them, I've heard that can be a thing.

I remember this on the xbox 360, you had to port forward the xbox live ips in your router or you would have strict nat. Never had to do it on pc games though. I guess you would have to forward ports from the COD servers?

If it's strict NAT your only option is VPN.

I have Vodafone 5g and play with VPN, usually use France or the Netherlands and I can play fine with no lag.

wouldn't think it's a NATing issue. i'm on moderate as well and it's fine.
personally dont like forwarding ports for PC. my xbox is in a dmz, but i dont care about that as much. :p

my guess would be if its vodafone it's your 4g connection.

Mobile providers mostly double NAT owing to lack of IP adrresses which can cause such issues.

GRRR the game decrypting for over an hour, I can't do owt else, Minecraft won't even load!!!!!!!!!!!!

May be talking out of my arse here so bear with me, but you can very easily change your "Xbox Live Multiplayer NAT Type" through Windows 10 but I have no idea if this will effect anything outside of multiplayer through the Windows Store and I'm assuming that you are playing COD through Steam or something similar.

Type 'Xbox Live Settings' into the windows search and click it, should bring this up:

Your NAT Type should display as moderate or something absurdly funky like 'Teredo is Unavailable', simply clicking 'Fix it' will change it to Open.

Again I have no idea if this would change your NAT for things outside of the Xbox Live Win10 service but it can't hurt to do it and see if it fixes it.

I've found not using a VPN helps me go from moderate to Open and enabling UPnP and open the following ports:

TCP: 3074, 27014-27050
UDP: 3074, 3478, 4379-4380,27000-27031, 27036

Also enable DMZ is an option.
