How do i cleanly install new mobo drivers?

Hi,

Ive just changed my motherboard from a Gigabyte X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI to a MSI X570 Tomahawk. Thankfully the os i had has booted and everything looks to be running fine.

However i would like to install the sound, chipset etc drivers for my new motherboard. How do i go about doing this so that there are no conflicts?

Just install them as per normal. You may find that Windows does it for you anyway.

Yeah all seems fine now, just need to work out if my memory is running at the right speed.

When i built my z490 system last year i let windows pick all the drivers, i didn't use any that came with the board or download any updated ones, it's been working fine so far, and i have just got my oculus quest linked to my pc and played abit of half life, very nice it is in vr.
