Hi all,

Im trying to connect my eq to my amp but not sure which connections the wires need to go in.

On the eq is two sets of jacks; "Tape Recorder" and "Line" and I assume its line in I need but then where on the amp does the other end of the wire go..?

all i have on the amp is phono/tape/md/cd-r/tuner/aux and cd.

PLeeeease help

at a guess, you plug your CD in to the LINE IN on the EQ

and then back out of the EQ LINE OUT back in to the amp on CD

so the sound is going through the EQ before getting to the amp

Out of interest why would you want to?

Regardless, the method mentioned above would work for your needs. The EQ would be impacting the signal from the CD player before it is amplified.

that works great thanks.... now i have another question: if I have my PC going into the aux connections on the amp how can I get the EQ to work with it in that instance?

Thanks once again

It's ok now sorted it :)

At a guess you might be able to bodge it by using the tape loop, then your input selection wants to stay on the tape, but your record source will change to whatever you want to shove through it. If that amp can do that.

Might be worth using the MD/CD line on the amp and the line in/outs on the graphic though in case the tape ones have something weird going on with the processing.

I do have to ask why you're trying to polish a turd though.
