I've got this PC which i'm typing from.
I've also got a decomissioned PC that I don't use, but want to keep for heritage's sake. The old PC has 4Gb left of HDD space. And I want to reformat the new PC (this one i'm typing from) HDD and start all over.
How can I save the files I want to the old HDD? Do I just simply plug in the IDE cable and expect it come in My Computer (Bearing in mind the old HDD has the OS on as well). Will this cause conflictions?
The new PCs HDD is SATA where as the old is IDE. Will this be a problem?
