How do I enable AI in HL2?

For some reason the AI has been disabled in HL2 and no one seems to be attacking me cos of it. Anyone know how I get it back? Thanks

It's either:

ai_disable 0

or

ai_resume

Sometimes this may not work so you have to type in ai_disable and THEN ai_resume

Edit: do what said above, then try this if it doesn't work:

Check that the game cache is validated, find your config file in steam\steamapps\username\half-life 2\hl2\cfg\ and delete it. Restart Steam and have another try.

No didn't enable any cheats, atleast not on purpose!. Deleted config file didn't work.

killer_uk, where to I type that stuff in? EDIT: nm found it and it worked, cheers.

Console, enable it in advanced keyboard options.

Ok, it is doing it again and it also says "Node graph out of date, rebuilding....." anyone know what this means

Is Half-Life 2 fully up to date and have you checked that it's 100% validated and defragmented? (Right click Half-Life 2, properties)

Did all that and then started up again, it's still happening. Oh well I completed it on my laptop anyway, jus wanted to make it work pn 64bit windows. I'll see if Ep1 works proparly

I jus downloaded it off steam a half a day ago, it's the 64 bit version, did it automatically. I'm not too fussed like I said but housemate wants to have a go and it's a pain having to disable and reable the AI
