I'm trying to set up a dynamic dns address on dyndns.com, and I can't find my real ip address. The one it automatically fill in is the one used to connect to my router, 192.168.0.1, like most others, and if I look on whatsmyip.com it shows me a different one, but it also connects to my router?

Also it displays the 192.168... one through run, cmd, ipconfig. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm trying to set up a ftp with a dynamic ip by the way.

IPCONFIG shows you internal IP address (ie the one of your computer)
whatsmyip shows your exteranl IP address, ie the external IP on your router (the IP that the rest of the word sees)

Also if I type whats my ip into google the search results show some starting with 66, but each one is different.

its a shame that there doesnt seem to be anyone where with that script you can put into your sig that shows the operating system, browser and IP of whoever is looking at the sig. as that would make it simple to see your own IP.
