How do I find the Default voltages?

Hi.

Is it true that leaving most voltages set at Auto can be bad?
I've got my Vcore running at 1.38v (FSB is 1333 unlinked, 10x mult) but everything else is at AUTO.

I've been getting some BSODs and in bluescreen viewer it seems they are all the same except for one.
They are hardware malfunction ones and always the same. Am I right in thinking most of the time these BSODs are due to OC'ing?

In my googling I read somewhere that having voltages set at auto can cause an issue..

Should I change them to the defaults so I have more control?
And how do I find my default voltages? I'm using a Striker Extreme with q6700.

default voltage is the VID mate, which you can find by downloading coretemp. if your overclocking you most likely need higher than vid if its a big clock

I know the default for the Vcore, its 1.28 according to coretemp.
I'm running at 1.38v, does that sound right for what I have it at?

I'm looking for the voltages of all the others in the bios which have AUTO next to them... or shouldn't they be an issue?

you should be at the minimum vcore to give you a stable overclock on the chips core voltage. the others are best to type in manually, then you can bring them down too. most lads will tell you voltages are best left on manual
 
the voltages that are most important are

PLL
north bridge
fsb termination or vtt

when i overclocked my 9650 i googled the **** off these to find out what other lads were using. i then increased vcore till it was 12 hour blend stable, and then bought down each voltage till it stopped being prime stable

I had to read a few times before I think I understood. So you mean you've goto get the voltage as low as you can while still being stable?

On here I see the north bridge, vtt, but no PLL? Is PLL under a different name?

Also should the others not be messed with an left on Auto then? Ram for example?

Some people prefer to put the voltages in manually, others prefer to leave them on Auto.
At least if they are in manual, you have peace of mind that you know what they are and the board isn't over volting anything.

Your thinking along the right lines that all voltages need to be the lowest for a stable overclock.

BSOD is usually one of 3 things (in my experience)

Too low a vcore
Unstable ram speed.
Something getting too hot

Check your ram speed in or cpu-z
Check what your ram voltage needs to be (google the sticks)
Dont run them too fast, alter the divider in the bios to make sure they're lower than their rated speed (not by too much though)

Do a lot of searching till you find a forum thread with someone who has your board and chip, and find out what voltages they were using for their overclock.
