I live in a bungalow and the walls are nothing more than breeze blocks and brick, yet if I step out on to the patio or go out to the garage the Wi-Fi vanishes.
I did a quick search on google the other week for "high power" routers but this appears to be a bit of a misnomer and is more marketing spiel than anything else.
So what to do?
Buy a couple of access points and stick one at each end of the house or buy some sort of industrial grade router that will fry me if I get too close?
Current router is a NETGEAR DG834N "rangemax" lol "NEXT wireless ADSL2+modem router" ver1.02
