How do I get a timestamp with my pictures?

I want to take a photo of something and would like the time and date on the image when its taken. How do I do this with a Nikon D50?

Look at the EXIF info (this is info stored with the photo that states the settings used and when it was taken). You can look at it in Windows XP by right clicking the image and viewing the properties.

You won't get a D50 to put the date on the photo itself!! Personally i'd question why you own a D50 if you want to do this

Send it to Photobox and they will print the image with the date and time stamped on the back
