How do I get MSN to use FF to open my emails?

As above I'm on Vista 64bit but I use Firefox as I like the way you can customize it etc, but every time I click on the mail icon within msn messenger it opens in IE7 and I can't seem to find how to fix that?

Googled it but no joy

set Firefox to your default browser

Just checked in options and FF is my default?

Messenger ignores your defauly browser setting. Not sure how to get it to use Firefox.

What if you were very sneaky and :

a. renamed \Program Files\Internet Explorer\
b. installed Firefox to \Program Files\Internet Explorer\
c. renamed firefox.exe to IEXPLORE.EXE

?
