I have had windows vista on as my main os and windows 7 on another partition for testing but i wanted to get rid of windows 7 as it is still to unstable for me so i formated the partition with windows 7 on but when i start up the dual boot menu is still there. How do i get rid of that so my pc willl startup with out the menu.

You have to delete that partition, i think you can delete it when you want to format the PC, so put your Vista CD in on boot then the menu will come up before you format then choose to delete the partition which windows 7 is on.
