How do I get them to pee!!

my 4 year old has to wear clothes sized for a 7+ year old hes quite tall but not that much bigger than most of the other kids in his class

Same for ours.

Kira is tall for her age, she's in 5-6 year old stuff and she's 3.

Jenny is in 3-4 stuff and she's 2.

right I haven't read through every reply but I have had 5 children including 3 boys. First of all ditch the potties boys work better standing up. let them watch you go. Also modern nappies are so absorbant that children don't know they have wet themselves really, so, messy though it is, let them run around naked sometimes or with pants on so that they do have accidents. do this for a week if you dare. They will get the hang of it. Do not show any anger when clearing up. just change them and get on with something else. At 3 1/2 they could also have a award chart with a special treat when they complete a week.
Ask the health visitor for help and other mums for their ideas and remember no healthy normal child goes to school in nappies.

And buy a toilet seat for them.

Already tried the no nappies during the day but they dont care if they get soaked . Also they already know how to wash their hands and have been doing it on their own since 2yrs old ish

they should have only been wearing a nappy at night time for probably a year by now.....

I hate that - no such thing of "should have done x by now" as far as kids are concerned.

omg kids on an internet forum! someone said the same thing to me once when i posted a picture of my child when he was 2 years old , he was sitting in the bath which you could clearly tell but you could only see from his shoulders up and he had a bubble beard....
