OK, so I'm quite a fan of pears, but it seems like when I eat them they're nearly always too hard or too soft. So I buy a bunch of 5 or so pears, only one of them is ever just ripe enough when I eat it.
What ever shall I do?

As someone said i typically keep a few in the fridge then gradually remove them to let them ripen. That gives more chance of getting the 'perfect' one as their ripening process will be offset.

I also do this with bananas but make sure you wrap them in foil first or else they go wierd

This forum is getting more and more stupid by the day

Whatever happened to the good old days of it being a hardware/overclocking forum???

Pears my arse!!! Just eat them and be done with it.

People have spent too much time on the forum and forgotten how to live their lives.:p

Hi there,

You should top yourself - I mean it's Blue Monday and your pear world is collapsing around you :(.

Only on the internet would suicide be the first suggestion for keeping pears ripe.

I keep opening this thread expecting to see the pear with the mouth captioned "lul wut?" and due to a lack of this I feel let down and disappointed
