How do i know if the 2nd core is working?

Hi

Just built my first Dual core system (E2180)
How do I see what the 2nd core is doing? as everything so far seems to relate to a single core, how do i know if the 2nd core is idle or actualy doing something?

any programs that will let u see it in more detail? maybe control the CPUs better?

In CPU0/1, Start workload 100%. You should see both graphs in Task Manager at 100%.

Controlling software, I don't know any.

I kind of misread your question, hence the edit.

if you look at those graphs when you use your pc you will see them show activity on each core, windows controls both cpu's just fine.
