You dont obv read too good, if you pay for it it can run outside Windows.
And the fact Ive had customers rigs I knew were down to bad memory but the sacred Memtest found nothing but the APP I choose to use did and that was inside Windows.
Not much point having Memory pass outside Windows if it cant run Windows.
As I said above, I inputed my bit, I really dont care what you use or dont use.

IMO The Memtest86 you uses is POO.
I aint a fanboy but I support APP's that have helped me so SOD OFF.

Easy fella, everyone has their opinon. If you both can't agree - just leave it that you disagree.
One point about memtest running outside of windows is that it does have access to all areas. I strongly doubt that a user level program in windows would have access to the kernel areas to poke and read as it sees fit. Thus running under an OS (any OS) could mean an application isn't testing all the memory.. (ignoring memory mapped I/O areas)

Esp annoying after I have posted it dozens of times and now someone brings up BS.
Afterall like every time its never the OP, its always anothet big mouth who aint even tried it in the 1st place.
How many times do I need to say it can run outside Windows but non the free version (it costs the price of a few beers), an even the version that runs inside Windows has done me more good that Memtest86 that I DO not rate.
