How do I move images and apps to SD Card on Oneplus X

Hi,

I have been googling this and cannot find the answer as all the related posts are around three years old and are for older operating systems. I have Android 6.0.1 and Oxygen 3.1.4

I have just fitted a 4 GB SD card to my wife's Oneplus X and cannot see how to move the photos/apps to the SD card to free up internal storage space. I also want set the SD card as the default storage place for new photos. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be given the option when you install the sd card.Have a look in storage settings see if there is an option in there.
Some phones don't allow you to use the sd card as internal storage.
