Hi,

I have a Win XP CD with SP2 so I believe I don't need to make a slipstream CD. I've just received my replacement hard drive and wish to install Windows on it so that it shows it's full capacity as one partition rather than creating a second partition once Windows is installed. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance. :)

Have you tried installing it already? I think it should automatically be able to format the full size of the disk and create a partition of the same size since you have a disk with SP2 on it.

Yep, I've used this CD on 150GB WD Raptor and 750GB Seagate and they both show as 127GB once Windows is installed. The 150GB Raptor died so I've just received the replacement although it's the 160GB version so I want to make sure this time that when I install Windows the partition is at its full capacity.
