how do i quickly flick through multiple images (like win photo viewer)

hi all, i'd like to be able to open a picture in a certain directory and then be able to scan through the rest of the pics in that directory simply by pressing left or right, a la the standard windows picture viewer. What am i missing here?

Use coverflow mode - keyboard shortcut is Command+4 or click the 4th button along on the toolbar in Finder.

If you're talking about viewing your images in Preview, you need to go into your pictures folder, CMD+A to select all images, right click, Open with > Preview.

You'll then be able to use your arrow keys to cycle through.

OR CMD+A to select all the images in the folder then hit the space bar. It'll open up quick look.

Cmd+A then press spacebar.

Now use the arrows

Don't even need to command-a, just hit the spacebar.
