How do I remove a small padlock?

Yeah they could, which is why them sliding bolt locks are useless on anything other than a gate tbh. But if you dont have anything valuable in there it doesn't matter. Just pointing it out as some people do store valuables in a shed and think a lock and padlock like that will be secure.

You can get much more secure locks, like a hasp and staple that covers the lock, so that you can't get bolt cutters in. Also bolt cutters would struggle on a more expensive padlock.

If it's more than the product they're less likely to run away with them... Think about it, he can get a pair off the bay for £20 but why wait for delivery if he can just spend £20 on a deposit and run off with them?
